The core of my creatorship has evolved over the years, but it has always been obvious that the themes I work with revolve around mankind. Our urges, feelings and the way events affect our emotional state. I incorporate personal stories of myself and / or others into a narrative and add layer after layer to it.

I create to inform people, perhaps to emotionalize but especially to pull them out of their own existence for a while. Realism is very important here, the spectator needs to effortlessly be taken into my work, only to wake up from his trip and step back into his own life. It's my opinion that the best motive is one of a personal and emotional nature. Humans are emotional beings, whether we like it or not. So when these primordial urges seek their way out, I would like to contribute to shaping it.

Every story, every director and every target group is different. This requires a flexible approach and this is where technology inspires me. Combining equipment; lens, camera, tripod, movement, light, sound, high, low, far, near, creates an innumerable amount of possibilities. And this is where I excel at. 

I am not only guided by the logical style choices, but also dare to let myself get be guided by by intuition and feelings. My entire creatorship is about influencing and being influenced.
